The first stage of the Rouse Hill Town Centre retail opened in September 2007. It comprises Coles and Woolworths supermarkets as well as a range of speciality stores. Stage 2 will open on 6 March, 2008 and comprise Big W and Target, speciality retail, a library, community centre and civic facilities. The New Rouse Hill Sales and Information Centre and Demonstration Village opened in October 2007. First residents are expected in mid 2008 with town centre apartment residents arriving in March. A range of community facilities within the town centre is scheduled to open in March 2008 and will include the Baulkham Hills Shire Council Library, community centres and learning spaces.
