The New Rouse Hill is located in the suburb of Rouse Hill, within the Baulkham Hills Shire, approximately 39 km northwest of the Sydney CBD. The 122-hectare site is bounded by Windsor Road, Commercial Road and Withers Road. Nearest existing centres are Baulkham Hills, located 10 km to the southeast, Castle Hill, some 8 km to the southeast, Blacktown, 11 km to the south and Windsor and Richmond, about 10 km and 18 km respectively to the northwest. The New Rouse Hill will be home to about 4,500 residents upon completion.
